The program includes top level Open Stage performances, workshops for different circus arts, circus seminars, a circus parade marching reaching its highlight at the Joensuu marketplace and the Gala Show composed of world class jugglers.

The European Juggling Convention is held in a different country every year. In 2009 the convention was held in Spain where about 4000 jugglers and juggling-minded people took part in the event. We are expecting around 2000 people to attend the EJC 2010 in Joensuu, most from abroad.

The European Juggling Convention is organized by Circus Supiainen, an active Finnish agent in the many fields of performance arts, together with the international European Juggling Association (EJA). EJA is a European non-profit organization whose goal is to actively promote juggling in Europe. Also taking part in the organizing are Circus Kumiankka (Rubber Duck), the Finnish Youth Circus Association and the city of Joensuu.

The features of the European Juggling Convention are our world class programme and positive communal spirit which enables a genuine meeting and networking between hobbyists and professionals from all over the world. The European Juggling Convention is suitable for all ages and many participants arrive with their whole family to the most anticipated event this summer.
