Earl & the Slimline

Earl (Eero Vaajoensuu) is Finnish guitar grinder known from r'n'r groups Silver Bullets and Trombees plus Helsinki rhythm & blues scene. Bullets recorded Earl-instrumentals on Goofin' Records like "Space Detective" & "Following the Suspect". During years he composed more instrumentals melting surf and Finnish barbwire - not forgetting the blues heart. By 2008 it was time to put up new system for these. Earl told ole Sausage Kings -bandmate drummer Slim (Miss Treatment, Maibell & The Misfires, ex- Knucklebone Oscar etc.) to seek out backing trio. For bass reported Fuzz a.k.a. Tony Lee Matta (lead gtr in The Sahara Sextet, Miss Saana ja Nuori rytmi etc.) For organ appeared firstly Sue Cider of Gun Molls & Gangsters. Late 2008 she was replaced by Mr. Petri Rannikko (Slim Allan 3, ex- Maritta Kuula & Karvanopat, ex- Uncle John's Dead). Earl & The Slimline is featured on Twangsville-compilation "Arctic Surf!"
