The Big gym is a hall named Joensuu Arena, the largest wooden building in Finland offers a magnificent setting for various types of events in Joensuu. The Arena is a suitable venue for a wide variety of events from fairs to exhibitions, concerts and from small-scale meeting to large conferences. In sports use, the Arena is suited for football, Finnish baseball, athletics, climbing and many indoor sports. Check link for photos and more info.

Camping of EJC2010 will be organized on a real camping site with all the stuff you need for camping. 

At our camping site you can stay in a cottage, a tent or a caravan.

The camping site has a special prices during the convention and they are as follows:

Accommodation to other people (also for people with day tickets)

7€ / night

For caravan people, caravan place

11€ / night without electricity

12€ / night with electricity

 These special prices are available from the starting day until 2.8. after which the place will be up for renovation.

In addition to our basic services we offer different kinds of activities; you can rent a boat, a jet ski or go to a sauna. Next to the camping site there is a nice beach with many beach volley fields. You can also buy snacks and sweets at a kiosk at the reception.

At the festival area there are different possibilities to eat. On the festival site there are food stalls for both jugglers and the public. They'll be offering meaty and vegetarian meals.  All self-caterers who want to bring their own cooking equipment will find supermarkets, bakeries and other shops nearby. There will also be a self-catering area and dish-washing facilities.

The food will be served:

Breakfast at 07.00 - 10.30. (Must be reserved from camping day earlier)
Lunch at 11.15 -
Dinner at 18.30 - 

We will be trading indoors in EJC 2010. The weather in Finland might be rainy sometimes so having our trader's stalls inside is a great thing. Trading happens inside the Joensuu Arena which is our main location for EJC 2010. This is the place for gym and some of the shows. There are two entrances in the arena, easiest for traders will be to use ground level entrances to carry the products to the area.

We are going to have big enough space sliced off from the massive gym we have at the arena. The traders area will be separated from the festival space by high fences. And it will be open only during the 12:00 -16:00 when we are dealing. If for some reason we have estimated the space wrong we will expand our trading area in to the secondary entrance and will build more fences (only a b-plan).

Stall includes:

• 3 by 3 meters space
• Electricity 220v
• Two entry tickets
• Camping
• Access to parking space

Price: 500euros

Tables are booked separately for stalls. Cost per table is 20euros and for that you will get a table for whole festival. Tables can only be booked for full time. Also booking more tables at the site will be difficult if not impossible, please let us know how many tables you need when registering.

Trading space can be expanded, always in 1x3meter slices. Each expansion costs 50euros. (For example if you want to double your space to 3x6meters the price will be 500euros + 3x50euros = 650euros total). If you need more special space let us know and we will figure it out. If you want to separate your stall from others, please bring some kind of portable walls or tent a long with you (note! we trade inside).

Opening hours:

We are trying to keep the working ours reasonable. Trading will happen each day during 12:00-16:00. We won't be having any night sales. Also we will close trading everyday 1 hour before shows start. If the shows start earlier we will adjust the our opening ours so that we can close 1 hours before the shows. By having trading near the convention we ensure that traders will be much more involved on the festival. Also we want to give all traders possibility to attend all shows and festival.

Security control:

Since the trading area will be fenced and locked the security is quite easy for us. Also we are trading inside the arena so there won't be any outsiders crawling over the fences. Only jugglers (participants of the festival, or people who have bought necessary tickets) have the access to the gym. Also we can have one of the volunteers making sure no-one is climbing over the fences. For my opinion this security is enough for us.

Trader car parking:

Since our trading space is at the street level of the arena we can drive the cars straight in the front of the doors and carry everything in and out easily. We will have you car parking near the arena. Sleeping will be as usual in camping site.

Power 220v:

We will organize electricity (one long cable with 4 plugs) to each booth/stall. If you for some reason need more electricity than usual please let us know about it. If your plugs aren't the same we use in Finland remember to get your adaptors with you, we might not have spare ones for everybody. Electricity fee is included the price.
