If we replace throwing with setting things down we get a medium to try some really complex patterns.  Rhythm must be set by the juggler because gravity plays a different role here.  Think it's too easy without the throwing?  Think it's too hard because you don't know siteswaps? I think both will be surprised at the possibilities. (also known as table juggling or tableswap)
